In 1987 Tom moved to upstate New York where he met and married his wife, Jenet. Together, they joined Ballston Center Associated Reformed Presbyterian Church in the ARP denomination. Tom was ordained as a Deacon and served in this office for approximately six years. He was then installed as an Elder and served faithfully for about 12 years, until a job move brought him to Connecticut in 2013.

The family of five, including two daughters and a son, joined Covenant Presbyterian Church in 2013. Tom was installed as an Elder about 2 years later. He serves as the church’s Assistant Treasurer.
